Mamoon is a General Partner at The Social+Capital Partnership (S23P), an early stage Venture Capital firm based in Palo Alto. Mamoon has invested in some most disruptive SaaS businesses including Box, Yammer, Castlight Health and Act-On Sofware. He was also an early advisor at Yelp.

Prior to S23P, Mamoon was a Partner at U.S. Venture Partners (USVP), where he spent six years. Mamoon started his Silicon Valley career at Xilinx where he spent six years in various engineering and marketing roles. At Xilinx he helped build a new $100m business in consumer electronics and automotive over the course of 3 years.

Mamoon has knack for speaking different languages without an accent. In fact, he spoke five languages by the age of 6. He is also a soccer fanatic and says, “you can’t help it when you grow up in Germany.”
