Mobile Productivity Challenge: PC-free for One Week
Author: CloudOn Admin , Posted On: Aug 6, 2012
CloudOn employees spend a lot of time thinking and talking about tablets and mobile productivity. So, one day we thought – what if we tested a belief we have here – that with applications like ours, tablets can actually transform from entertainment devices to productivity solutions?
What if someone went totally PC-free for a week? Could it be done?
Well, that’s what we are here to find out and we’re calling it the Mobile Productivity Challenge. And, who better to take the challenge than our CEO, Milind Gadekar?
Milind will be hitting the road for the next week and will be leaving his laptop at home – bringing only his tablet.
There are also a few ground rules he has to follow:
1. No PC for one week. This includes public computers that may be accessed from locations like airports, cafes, hotels, etc.
2. Tablet accessories (like stands and keyboards) are okay.
3. No access to a remote desktop solution.
4. If free Internet service is not available, it may be purchased.
Hear what Milind has to say about embarking upon this challenge, and stay tuned to find out if he is able to remain truly productive from the road.
